The Crieff Hydro is a Visitscotland 4 star rated venue and have been welcoming guests for over 130 years from all over the world to relax, get together, be sporty and work at Crieff Hydro. With over 14 meeting spaces and multiple activities available, it is an ideal location for any conferences or meetings. A bewildering choice awaits you outside on Crieff Hydro's 900 acre estate. The year-round activity centre can give you thrills and spills on the off-road driving and quad bike courses or a more serene trip round the estate on horseback. Culcrieff golf course commands views which can only be described as breathtaking and is open to the experienced and novice golfer. All the activities are set off by the backdrop of the Strathearn valley and views of Ben Vorlich and Ben More in the distance. Crieff Hydro can offer a range of over 20 rooms types with something to suit everyone, from guests who prefer not to share to families of 6 or even 7 people. All Crieff Hydro's 212 en suite bedrooms have been refurbished in the last few years to a good four-star standard. There are allso 42 self-catering units of which 26 are five star. At Crieff Hydro Hotel they aim to provide a simple quotation
for all your conference needs, therefore 13 amp sockets are adequately available in each meeting room, and can arrange 3 phase power if required. Please advise us of the electrical load either at the time of booking. All meeting rooms are fitted with telephone points which can either be operated through the hotel switchboard or direct dial. It is possible to have ISDN and Modem connections, please ask your co-ordinator for information regarding this service. Please make arrangements for this facility at least one month before the event date. All meeting rooms provide heating and ventilation services, which you can control and provide you with the most comfort. Most meeting rooms have Air Conditioning; again this can be controlled within the room to provide you with a comfortable environment for your event. Crieff Hydro is renowned for its good food, and every evening they offer you a choice of two dining options. The Meikle Restaurant (opened 2002) offers all the formal splendour of a grand Victorian room and allows you the chance to dress for dinner. By contrast, the Brasserie has a lively and informal Mediterranean style dining atmosphere which is perfect for a more relaxed evening or for all the family to appreciate. And during the day, when you find all that fresh air and exercise has given you an appetite, the Winter Garden coffee shop is the ideal place to enjoy coffee and light meals. |
